I'm Asha Kohli — a creatrix and practitioner working at the intersection of movement arts, writing, folk medicine, and creativity. I work with visionaries who want to birth something something beautiful into this world and need a space to explore the fullness of their embodied and creative intelligence.

I started Kohlibri Creative because I know what it's like to not fit into one box.

As a mixed-race, multidisciplinary person, I've spent years moving between worlds—never quite belonging in any single one. Artist, dancer, caretaker, community member, ceremonialist. I've worn many hats, and for a long time, I thought I had to choose just one.

It wasn't until I opened the door to reclaiming my own ancestral roots, originating in the Himalayas, the Amazon, and the Andes, that things shifted. As I began exploring the healing traditions of my lineages, I started to remember why I cam here, and was able to finally awaken gifts I didn't have language for: as a seer, as someone with clear-knowing, as someone here to steward new pathways and paradigms into the world.

It was on the ancestral reclamation journey that the hummingbird visited me, and guided me each step of the way.

But awakening those gifts meant facing something harder: the fear of being seen, and stepping into visibility to inspire others to do the same.

I'm a survivor, and come from a lineage of survivors. The women in my lineage had to play it small, keep quiet, and hide to survive. I inherited that instinct to dim my light, to not take up too much space, to stay quiet, and to keep my gifts to myself where it was safe.

Breaking that pattern, learning to be visible, to speak, to let my gifts shine, has been one of the most challenging and essential parts of my path. And it's exactly what I'm here to help others do.

Because I know what it costs to stay small, and I know what becomes possible when you don't.

This is the space I needed when I was finding my way. A place where your multidimensionality isn't a problem to solve, it's your greatest gift. Where being "too much" is actually just enough. Where you don't have to choose between your power and your safety.

My work is anchored in a simple premise: your body holds knowledge that your mind hasn't caught up to yet. The answers you're seeking, about your next move, your creative direction, your sense of purpose, are already inside you. My role is to help you access them.

I believe we can only step into our power once we have fully reclaimed our relationship to the earth and to our own bodies. The vision you're building, the voice you're cultivating, the belonging you're seeking, it all starts here, in your embodied truth.

You don't have to choose just one version of yourself.

You don't have to stay small. You get to bring it all, and let it shine.

This path is not mine alone. It is a braid, a sacred weaving, of earth, story, and spirit—held with humility and great care.

I live and practice on the ancestral lands of the Pomo and Coast Miwok peoples—land that continues to teach me through her winds, her waters, her lush and wild wonder.

I bow to the original stewards of this place and to the lineages that have held rituals, ceremonies, stewardship, and earth connection as sacred since time immemorial.

I give deepest thanks to the Indigenous Andean and Amazonian teachers who have shaped me — human and more-than-human — and to the ancient lineage holders who carry memory in their bones.

Through the body, I listen.

Through the earth, I remember.

Through the cosmos, I return home,

again and again.
